What the *&^(^*??
What happened to Zidane? 10 minutes to go for penalties. He's the captain, designated penalty taker and he headbutts an Italian for no apparent reason. Or maybe, Materazzi (right?) knew how to upset him but it was quite an unbelievable scene. The match was ok, not too great, not too boring. Still shaking my head at Zidane's behaviour. What a stupid and sad exit.

Zidane is too classy to react that way unless there was a huge provocation, probably some personal racist comment was made. It's extremely sad as France dominated or at least in the second half. Still, even if Zidane had scored in the penalty, I have no confidence that Barthez could have saved any.
Sad that Zizou had to go out this way in his final World Cup game but the head-butt was extremely cool!
and to think I decided to stay at home and read...

I'm interested in the world cup. My plan is to reach the caribbean somehow next year in march and stay there for the world cup. Indians don't need visas for Jamaica and for the world cup they're waiving visa requirements for ticket holders.
