What the *&^(^*??

What happened to Zidane? 10 minutes to go for penalties. He's the captain, designated penalty taker and he headbutts an Italian for no apparent reason. Or maybe, Materazzi (right?) knew how to upset him but it was quite an unbelievable scene. The match was ok, not too great, not too boring. Still shaking my head at Zidane's behaviour. What a stupid and sad exit.

I know - and he could have vital during the penalty kick. Who knows what words were exchanged but that is a sad way to go in the last world cup that you would ever play.
Did you watch the Germany- Portugal match. That was exciting until Germany completely annihilated the Portgueses and I was able to get back to running errands for the weekend.
Still sad that France lost. It is amazing how many people hate France in US because "they did not help us in Iraq". Does anybody help King Kong beat Michelle Wei? And does anybody help King Kong beat anybody when they do not believe in it or do not see money being made off it.

btw, I am trying to organize a trip to Jamaica for the World Cup cricket. Who would be interested?

Oh yeah - Zidane's stree cred must be up the roof now. I am trying the head butt next time I get accosted in a bar.

Zidane is too classy to react that way unless there was a huge provocation, probably some personal racist comment was made. It's extremely sad as France dominated or at least in the second half. Still, even if Zidane had scored in the penalty, I have no confidence that Barthez could have saved any.

Sad that Zizou had to go out this way in his final World Cup game but the head-butt was extremely cool!

I'm interested in the world cup. My plan is to reach the caribbean somehow next year in march and stay there for the world cup. Indians don't need visas for Jamaica and for the world cup they're waiving visa requirements for ticket holders.
